Portfolio

This portfolio brings together the kinds of work I’m most drawn to making right now. It includes portraits, events, street and architecture photography, and creative work that reflect both where I am in my work and the direction I want to keep moving in.
Some of it’s personal, some of it’s project-based, and all of it’s connected by the way I see and approach photography. I’m drawn to images that feel clear in their point of view and strong in what they’re holding onto.
Even when the subject changes, the things I’m drawn to usually stay the same. I care about expression, feeling, and the details that give an image a sense of life. Whether I’m photographing a person, a place, or a passing moment, I want the image to stay connected to what made it worth capturing in the first place.
More than anything, I’m drawn to work that feels honest and distinct. I’m less interested in images that are simply nice to look at and more interested in photographs that people can feel, remember, or recognize. That’s the thread running through all of the work here.
What Connects the Work

Each gallery reflects a different side of the work. Some are more rooted in people and personality, some in observation and sense of place, and some in the kind of visual storytelling that grows out of place, feeling, and detail.
Taken together, they offer a fuller sense of the work as a whole and the different ways those interests take shape in the images I create.
