Events
Event photography draws me in because so much of it happens in real time. You can’t always plan for the moments that matter most. Sometimes they show up in a glance, a reaction, a quiet interaction, or a small detail that might otherwise go unnoticed.
What matters to me is creating images that feel like more than a record of the event. I want them to bring you back to the moment, to help you feel it again, not just remember that it happened.

What I’m Paying Attention To
I’m paying attention to more than just the big moments. Of course those matter, but so do the smaller ones happening around them- the reaction right after, the quick interaction no one planned for, or the little details that might seem minor in the moment but help tell the story of what the day really felt like.
That balance matters to me. The larger moments help tell you what happened, but the smaller ones are often what help you remember what it felt like.
What I Want the Final Images to Feel Like
I want the final images to feel like a story unfolding. Not just a collection of the biggest moments, but something that also carries the energy of the event, the interactions, and the details that gave the day its shape and feeling.
The people who were there should be able to look back at the images and feel connected to the day as a whole, not just the moments they happened to be standing in. For the people who couldn’t be there, the images should still give them some sense of what it felt like to be part of it. That’s what makes this kind of work feel meaningful to me.
